Classes and Celebrations for Kids

Using an integrated arts approach these classes, workshops and celebrations designed for children offer an engaging exploration of music, drama, dance and other expressive arts. The wonder and magic of performing and creating from imaginary platforms are in the forefront of all Sarina’s artistic and playful structures.


The Crystal Quest
Birthday Celebrations for Children (4 to 10 years of age)

This unusual, unforgettable party unfolds like a creative dance and drama class with an adventure style twist. The exciting birthday celebration is presented like a magical journey where every child, (boy and girl) is enthusiastically committed to one mission: to find a wishing crystal! All participants must go through five different lands where they are tested for their courage, strength and wisdom. The Crystal Quest is filled with fun cooperative games, imaginary creatures and creative/participatory experiences. The Limbo, Magic Gloves, Dance with an Alien and Tricking the Wizard are a few samples of the myriad of games that compose the party. All activities are done to world music. Maximum number of participants: fifteen


Topsy Turvy Tots
Dance and Music Classes for Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers

Adults with their babies, toddlers and school age children dance, create and play together while learning a traditional nursery repertoire of finger and toe plays, bouncing rhymes, singing games, dances, stories and puppet play. Topsy Turvy Tots provides an imaginative, active and playful program while developing rhythmic and dancing skills through movement, songs and music from around the world.


Dance and Drama for Kids

Sarina offers dynamic courses for the beginner exploring actor and dancer, as well as advanced-level study for young actors and dancers with previous experience. Classes are designed to develop movement awareness and a dance vocabulary, creativity, performance skills, concentration, character, and body techniques to strengthen the student’s command of his/her body & voice.


Musical Theatre for Children
For grades two to eight
Team taught by Sarina Condello and Sheila Philcox

Imagine- A Musical Theatre Program that mounts popular shows with music children love, and age appropriate scripts with a part for every child! All choreography, singing and performance skills are taught by musical theatre professionals. Children will also explore a variety of performance platforms through fun filled games and exercises in drama and dance. The program runs for ten weeks and concludes with two 45-minute performances, one for the school and the other for friends and relatives.

Oliver, The Lion King, The Sound of Music, Shrek, High School Musical, Hair, Grease, The Wizard of Oz, Annie, The King and I, Toy Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Mary Poppins, Oklahoma and many others!
